Statement of Faith

A Creative Movement Rooted in the Kingdom of Jesus

“Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.” – Matthew 6:10

We believe God has ordered Created into existence to be a living expression of His Kingdom on earth—calling artists, creatives, and culture-makers into deeper communion with Christ, and mobilizing them to reflect His glory through every act of worship, craftsmanship, and expression. Our calling is to equip and send forth those whose gifts are surrendered to Jesus, rooted in the gospel, and aligned with heaven’s story. Through our work, gatherings, and relationships, we long to see the world transformed as heaven invades earth.

Core Beliefs

Jesus Is King

We believe Jesus Christ is the sovereign King over all creation. His life, death, and resurrection inaugurated God’s Kingdom, and all of history bends toward His return and eternal reign.

Matthew 3:17; Daniel 2:44; Matthew 6:10; Revelation 11:15

We Are A New Creation

Through Jesus, we are made righteous, holy, and beloved children of God. We live as worshippers and co-heirs, empowered by the Spirit to reflect His love, character, and authority.

2 Corinthians 5:17–21; Ephesians 1:3–6; Romans 12:1–2; Luke 10:18–19

Salvation Is Through Christ Alone

All people are born into sin and in need of salvation, which comes only by grace through faith in Jesus. We must repent, believe, and receive His forgiveness and new life.

Acts 4:12; John 3:16; Romans 2:4; Titus 3:3–8

We Are the Church

The Church is not a building, but a global family of believers called out to live as witnesses to Jesus, filled with His Spirit, stewarding His gifts, and advancing His Kingdom together.

Colossians 1:13; Ephesians 4:11–16; Matthew 28:18–20; Revelation 21:1–5

The Word of God Is Our Foundation

We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God, fully true and wholly sufficient to guide, correct, and shape our lives, work, and mission. Through it, we behold Jesus and are transformed.

2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20-21; Proverbs 30:5; Romans 16:25-26

God’s Design Is Beautiful

We believe that all of life is worship—including how we live, love, and honor God’s design for gender, sexuality, marriage, and the sanctity of every human life.

Genesis 1:27–28; Romans 12:1; 1 Thessalonians 4:3; Psalm 139:13–14; Jeremiah 1:5

Leader’s Code of Conduct

Avoid unwholesome talk or imagery

Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.
–Ephesians 4:29

The Created community is made up of people from all demographics and age groups. We seek to make these family-friendly events so we ask that you abstain from any swearing or course or offensive language.

We realize that when it comes to art, there are different views regarding what is appropriate for general consumption. We ask that our speakers abstain from presenting any work that displays nudity or could in any way be considered offensive. These are church-sponsored, family-friendly events and we want parents to feel comfortable being able bringing their kids along to be inspired too.

Avoid political or social commentary

Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
–Romans 12:2

As a community we seek to find common ground and focus on what brings us together: celebrating creators, created by a loving God. This transcends the noise we are inundated with in the media and our current political climate. While we all have issues and social agendas we are passionate about, and there are plenty of ways to get involved and share your voice publicly, we ask that these are left at the door and not shared in your talk.

Inspire, tell stories and share your faith

He died for us so that, whether we are awake or asleep, we may live together with Him. Therefore encourage and build one another up, just as you are already doing.
–1 Thessalonians 5:11

We are a diverse group of creative people at very different places on our spiritual journey. Your discussion should first seek to inspire the group creatively. Secondarily, be open about your faith as the Holy Spirit leads. Share personal stories of lessons learned, triumphs and failures and how God’s hand was there to direct you.
